“The hierarchy here is pretty much like the Russian graffiti police.”
What’s the idea behind your poster?
When I arrived in Moscow, I was fascinated by the way the authorities removed graffiti. The walls are very, and the graffiti was covered by stretches of paint. However, some parts remained visible at times, but difficult to distinguish.
When I had to start making this poster, I had only been in the studio for a very short time, and the hierarchy was pretty fuzzy for me. Like the Russian graffiti police you don’t really see the hierarchy clearly here but know it exists only by the marks it left and the picking work it does.
