“I taught my boss to rock with pattern and farming.”
What’s the idea behind your poster?
While interning at NODE Oslo, I found out that I had to move out to the countryside to start farming vegetables. This was on my mind a lot, and afterward, I was told that I had taught my boss that you need to cultivate very little land for survival in Sweden and Norway. I was also told that a band wanted to work with NODE due to a poster series I had worked on including flowy patterns. This and that share several likenesses. The patterns are organic, so are farming. Farming also consists of a lot of patterns—everything from growing seasons to how you plant your vegetables.
In my poster, I have combined this organic world with stricter grid-like design practice, two fighting systems in my brain.
But I guess that every system zoomed in or out have positions of organicness and grittiness, and they go together in a shared progressive goal—connected like the symbols in the bottom of my poster.
