Founded in 2001, with now two studios in Arnhem (NLD) and Berlin (DEU), Catalogtree’s work can only be described as multidisciplinary and probably multidimensional too. Working on both commissioned and a variety of self-initiated projects, they are inventing new connections between disciplines and media. Experimental tool-making, programming, typography, and visualization of quantitative data are a huge part of their work. Projects range from bin-packing a book design, etching chladni patterns to auto-detecting helipads in satellite footage of São Paulo.
